CEC 360: 3D Modeling for Digital Media

Session 02

In this class we continue the basics of Lightwave/Inspire. We will cover both Lathing and Extruding and bevel operations. Also covered will be Nulls and aiming lights and cameras as well as basic procedural textures. Homework will be to create a room with a table, light it and render snapshots. This will also be our first mounted assignment. You will turn in a mounted rendering AND a project folder with your work.

The folder should be named with your last name and ID # and contain:

• An Objects folder containing your Room.lwo object

• A Scenes folder containing your Room.lws scene
